La discographie complète de HOT TUNA enfin retrouvée ! (Rock, USA)

Voici la discographie complète de HOT TUNA (Jorma KAUKONEN, guitare, Jack CASADY, basse), un des deux groupes (le meilleur ...) générés par l'éclatement du JEFFERSON AIRPLANE en 1969 qui donna également naissance au JEFFERSON STARSHIP (Paul Kantner, Grace Slick, Marty Balin).

Les deux compères, enfin libérés des vicissitudes du Jefferson Airplane, s'en donnent à coeur joie et c'est un incroyable plaisir que d'entendre la basse pétaradante de Jack CASADY se livrer à nos oreilles sans aucune retenue, nous qui avions tellement été mis en appétit par "Plastic Fantastic Lover" du temps de l'Airplane !

Et que dire de la guitare de Jorma KAUKONEN, transcendée par cette soudaine liberté qu'elle attendit patiemment, durant toutes ces années, sous le joug de l'Airplane, contrainte à quelques solos de bon ton, en accord alors avec l'esprit du groupe. Elle pleure de joie, dégouline de bonheur, enfin autorisée à jouer le blues et le rock comme elle avait toujours voulu le faire, à sa manière à elle, sans retenue !

Nombre de ces disques sont de pures merveilles, souvent enregistrés en public où nos deux acolytes excellent, bien mieux encore que du temps de l'Airplane !

Mais comme tout ce qui vient des USA est toujours et encore rare et cher, ces enregistrements sont hélas extrêmement difficiles à se procurer - je vous souhaite en tout cas le bonheur de pouvoir en obtenir quelques uns ... pour ma part, j'ai dû me résoudre pour certains à ce pâle et bien triste "MP3", ignoble fossoyeur de la restitution sonore ... hélas ... en attendant mieux ...

A titre indicatif, les deux CD les plus courants sont "Burgers" et "Pair of Dice Found", tous deux enregistrés en studio.

Dure est la solitude de l'amateur marginal en toutes choses, et ça va pas s'arranger...

Ah bon? Il y a encore du monde pour connaitre et apprécier Hot Tuna en France? Dites moi juste où ils sont: je joue des tas de morceaux d'eux, acoustiques, électriques - 3rd week in the Chelsea, Hesitation, Milkcow Blues Boogie et récemment Uncle Sam Blues comme sur le disque, toutes les impros, tous les plans... Mais aussi "Friend of the devil" et autres chansons de Jerry & Friends...
Où est le public dans notre beau pays?
Ah oui! En principe mon job c'est jouer des concerts - "Quand j'étais intermittent"
Sinon, j'ai réussi à trouver pas mal de Cd originaux et enregistrements rares, avec interview etc... On peut faire des échanges?
